Simulating Physics Using Computers

An important aspect of work in science (physics in particular) is the simulation of physical phenomena. Experimenting in this way allows scientists (physicists) to experiment without the danger involved with the real thing. As part of the SPH4U “Independent Studies Project” (ISP), students were required to model some aspect of physics using computers. Some ideas, results, challenges and future considerations will be presented.
