This
workshop will introduce to participants a way of giving thinking tools to their
students in two important areas of learning: 1) constructing free-body diagrams
and, (2) tracking energy flow when solving conservation of energy problems.
Since implementing these tools in my classroom many of my previous stumbling
blocks to problem solving have all but disappeared. Participiants will be given
numerous examples to work through to show the value of these tools as well
as published references for these ideas. |
