Science Olympics & Science Fairs

On Thursday 21 May 2009, we ran a Science Olympics program at Western with 770 students from 26 schools, as far away as Barrie. I received an email a week later asking for a list of the 2010 events so that they can start practising. I will describe the program and offer two Science Olympics Events for you to try. Youth Science Ontario has received a large Trillium grant to sponsor Science Olympics programs across the province in regions not well serviced by other programs. I will also describe the opportunities available to students at both National and International Science Fairs.
