Gleam in the eye, smile on the face, excitement in the heart – every student should leave a physics class with a happy memory. A wide variety of fun demonstrations will be done. Presentation theory will be implemented and modeled. |
John is retired from 29 years as Physics and Mathematics, Teacher Head of Department, and Science Consultant Toronto District School Board. John is a Life Member of the Ontario Association of Physics Teachers. He spends his retirement writing fiction and poetry and is the winner of the G. Raymond Chang Award for Poetry. John has been the instructor for Ontario Institute for Studies in Education/University of Toronto Honour Specialist Physics Additional Qualifications Summer Programme for many years. He authors a column for the Crucible magazine "Inflate the Grasshopper - Decorate the Pig". John has been recipient of the YSISTE Fellowship in Science Education. He has been and is involved in the publication many Science, Mathematics, and Physics texts as author, editor, or senior consultant. He loves to present Electricity and Air and Flight Programs for Scientist in Schools in elementary schools |
