Integrating New Literacy in Physics |
|||
This presentation will tell the story of two teachers on their journey to help students see physics in everything around them. With the objective to achieve cross-curricular integration of course expectations and communication skills in senior physics, the presenters will describe how they progressively incorporated collaborative and media rich educational technologies to broaden the learning outcomes for students. Over five years, a project intended to connect scientific concepts and skills to other subject disciplines transformed into a differentiated learning experience that empowered students to take their understanding of physics beyond the classroom. |
