Building Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells

Is it really possible to generate "green current" out of blackcurrant? The answer to this question is given by the nanocrystalline dye- sensitized solar cell. We are going to build such cells and measure their parameters.

Dr. Valeri Kapoustine is a Senior Lecturer and Lab Coordinator and an Undergraduate Physics Program Director at UOIT and received his PhD in Engineering Physics from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute. His areas of interest are quantum electronics, photonics, physics of electrical discharge.
