Topic:	Chris Meyer presents: Dont' just teach Science - Teach Scientifically

We are the midst of a "scientific revolution" for teaching. Insight from education research is becoming the guiding light for teaching rather than tradition and gut feelings. Learn how this new understanding of teaching can transform our traditional lessons and create a rich learning environment for our students. Chris will share his own journey from traditional to scientifically informed teaching and explain how eduction research has improved many aspects of his traditional lessons. While the examples are from his physics classes, the ideas and discussions in this workshop would be valuable for any science and math teacher and could be used in your class the very next day.

Although this session is geared to Science or Math teachers, but any teachers are welcome!
