Why Move the Banquet?

Low participation in the banquet option this year has necessitated the need to move this portion of the conference off-site to a local restaurant. The restaurant of choice is the Mongolian Grill.

If you have paid $45 for the banquet, then this fee will be reimbursed to you upon registration.

Once at the restaurant, each person will pay his or her bill separately.

We do hope you will join us at this new location, because we have a number of reasons to celebrate. In particular, we will be joined by Carol Croft and her husband. Carol has maintained the OAPT membership list for many years, and is retiring from the University of Guelph. We owe her a great debt for the support she has given us over many years, and we know she is much looking forward to this special celebration.

We have a private room which is large enough to hold all who signed up for the original banquet, plus the honored guests. Other attendeees will be seated nearby.

The restaurant is about 1.5 km from the Ontario Science Centre.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused, and we look forward to seeing you at the conference on Thursday., and on Friday at the New Banquet.
